Online Outdoor First Aid Modules

Service Description

You complete this course in your own time at your speed. You can click on any of the dates to book onto the Online outdoor modules. Those are not the dates you have to complete the course within, merely giving people lots of opportunities to see this course. Online Outdoor First Aid Modules are part of a blended learning course. This course is also a qualification for remote learning. (This is not a substitute for the Outdoor First Aid (RQF), it is added learning material and a course certified by First Aid Events) Course content: The role of the first aider, contents of first aid kits (avoiding cross infection), recording of incidents and accidents, assessing the situation in an emergency, administering first aid to a casualty who; is unconscious (including seizures), requires cardio pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), is choking, is wounded or bleeding, is in shock, has minor conditions – to include: minor cuts, grazes and bruises, minor burns and scalds, small splinters. Administer first aid to a casualty with; injuries to bones, muscles, joints including suspected spinal injury, sudden poisoning, burns and scalds, eye injuries, anaphylactic shock and use of auto-injectors (Epipen)*, Recognise the presence of major illness and provide appropriate first aid including heart attack, stroke, epilepsy, asthma & diabetes. Changes and adjustments to outdoor environments. Once you have booked onto the course you will be emailed access to your online portal.

Cancellation Policy

1. CANCELLATION POLICY a) If you cancel more than 6 weeks prior to the course start date, you will forfeit any deposit paid. b) If you cancel less than 6 weeks prior to the course start date, you will be forfeit the deposit and be liable for the full "balance of payment" of all monies owed to First Aid Events for your booking. d) Cancellation must be notified IN WRITING ONLY to the First Aid Events Office by fax, email or letter. Verbal instructions to cancel are not acceptable and will not be acted upon by the First Aid Events Office. 5. a) All correspondence will be sent to the e-mail address supplied on your Booking Form. b) It is your responsibility to keep the First Aid Events office informed of any change of e-mail address or postal address after booking on to a course. 2. First Aid Events reserves the right to cancel courses at any time prior to the course date. In this eventuality First Aid Events will refund any monies paid to First Aid Events, but shall not be liable for an additional costs incurred.
